My name is Peder Sandqvist. I love combining creativity and technology to build impactful digital experiences.
Growing up I spent thousands of hours sketching, drawing, and building 3D worlds with Lego. Finding out my passion for world-building could be used to create striking 3D CGI content I spent fifteen years honing my skills as a 3D Artist, Creative Director, Creative Technologist, and Producer, creating visual effects, digital experiences, and 3D content for a wide variety of clients.
It turns out that experience in 3D creation and visual communication is essential in the creation of quality XR content. So, since 2013 I have been spending all my time exploring the world of XR, helping global brands create magical immersive moments that have a lasting impact.
In my role as Creative Technologist, I founded and headed up the global VR lab at digital marketing giant PublicisSapient between 2013 and 2017.
Today, I´m helping organizations prepare for and embrace the move to 3D spatial computing. My contribution can span from a pure strategic advisory role to designing and developing full-fledged production-ready XR applications and the 3D pipelines to enable them.
My work includes several award-winning VR & AR experiences and long-term engagements for clients like Bang & Olufsen, Polestar, Space10, IKEA, Volvo Cars, OnePlus, Novo Nordisk, Dior, Husqvarna, and Reebok.
I am also a respected speaker and panelist at industry events such as Unite, VR Days Europe, Autodesk University, CopenX, and Guldnyckeln, and a former jury member for Core77 Design Awards.
When not dabbling around in 3D space, you can find me on the tennis court trying to improve my lousy backhand or trying desperately to keep up with my twin baby boys and their older brother.
